Run the analysis
- 1Open Stats and find Dialogue Flow.
- 2Choose Analyze Dialogue when the current chapters have not been checked.
- 3Review which characters carry the conversation in each chapter.
- 4Re-analyze stale chapters after substantial dialogue edits.
Ask story questions, not quota questions
An uneven share of dialogue is not automatically a problem. Use the result to ask whether important characters have agency, whether voices remain distinct, and whether a scene is dominated by the person who should control it.
