- 1Open Review and find Dialogue Flow after the Characters assessment.
- 2Choose Analyze Dialogue when the current chapters have not been checked or have changed.
- 3Review which characters carry the conversation in each chapter.
- 4Run the analysis again after substantial dialogue edits.
Ask story questions, not quota questions
An uneven share of dialogue is not automatically a problem. Use the result to ask whether important characters have agency, whether voices remain distinct, and whether a scene is dominated by the person who should control it.
