Add and manage project notes
Capture planning material without crowding the manuscript.
Create a note
- 1Open Chapters from the left rail.
- 2Choose Add Note, or use Command–Shift–N.
- 3Give the note a name that describes its job, such as Character timeline or Final pass checklist.
- 4Write and format the note in the editor.
Keep the note list useful
Rename notes when their purpose changes. Duplicate one when you want a safe branch, and delete material that no longer helps the project.
