Create or open a project

Start a blank project or return to an existing project.

Create a blank project

  1. 1Select Blank Project in the library.
  2. 2Begin writing, then choose Save when you are ready to name the project.
  3. 3Save the new .mns project with a clear filename in a folder you back up. The first filename becomes the project title.

Open existing work

Select Open File to choose a Minstrel project, DOCX document, or Scrivener project from Finder. Minstrel projects appear under Recent after opening. DOCX and Scrivener files open as imports and become new .mns projects when first saved.
