Give every chapter a clear place
- 1Apply Heading 1 to each chapter title.
- 2Open Write to confirm the titles appear in the right order.
- 3Use Heading 2 or Heading 3 when you want important sections to appear beneath a chapter.
- 4Hover a chapter title to read its generated synopsis. A synopsis may show as updating after the chapter changes.
- 5Use the outline to spot missing turns, crowded sections, and abrupt jumps.
Use synopses as promises
With Standard, Plus, or Pro, a short automatic synopsis can state what changes in the chapter. During revision, compare that promise with the actual scene and decide whether the chapter earns its place.
