Search chapter text or project notes with exact matching controls.
Choose the right search scope
- 1Open Write and select Search chapters to search chapter titles, headings, and manuscript text.
- 2Open Prepare and select Search notes to search note titles, headings, and text.
- 3Turn on Match case when capitalization matters.
- 4Turn on Match whole words only to exclude partial matches.
- 5Use the previous and next controls to move through results.
Search as a revision tool
Search for character names, recurring objects, placeholder text, filter words, or a phrase you suspect appears too often. Results stay in the current chapter or note domain and highlight the matching text.
