Welcome to Minstrel

Find your way around the library, editor, and project tools.

The Minstrel library with recent projects, templates, and nuclei.
Recent projects, planning templates, and story nuclei are all available from the library.

Start in the library

The library gives you three useful starting points: recent projects, structural templates, and nuclei. You can also begin with a blank document or open a project that already exists on your Mac.

  1. 1Choose Recent to return to a project you have already opened.
  2. 2Choose Templates for a manuscript with a suggested story structure.
  3. 3Choose Nuclei to develop a compact story seed.
  4. 4Use Blank Document for a clean start, or Open File to select an existing project.

Open the project tools

Inside a project, the left rail opens Chapters, Search, Spelling, History, Reviews, Stats, Export, and Project Info. Each tool stays beside the manuscript so you can work without leaving the page.
