Navigate the manuscript and keep working material beside the draft.
Move through a long draft
The Chapters panel turns top-level manuscript headings into a navigable outline. Select a title to jump to that section without scrolling through the entire draft.
- 1Open Chapters from the left rail.
- 2Select a chapter title to move the editor to it.
- 3Choose Add Chapter to create the next structural unit.
- 4Check the modified marker to see which chapter contains unsaved work.
Keep supporting material nearby
Notes belong to the project but stay outside the manuscript. Use them for research, scene questions, character details, discarded passages, and revision checklists.
