Run a preflight check
- 1Confirm the title, author, cover, and optional book pages under Publish > Book details.
- 2Check that chapter titles use a consistent heading level.
- 3Resolve placeholder text and inspect Proofread issues.
- 4Choose the intended destination, then tune its typography and layout.
- 5Review the inline PDF or EPUB preview, or the DOCX output check, then open the finished file after export.
Keep milestone copies legible
Use clear filenames that include the title, purpose, and date or revision label. This makes reading copies and submission drafts easier to distinguish from the active project.
